Adopt A School of Beaufort County

Our Story

In 1995, Marge Jarvis and Earl Dietz envisioned a community where volunteers partner with students and teachers at St. Helena Elementary School. This vision led to the formation of Adopt-A-School of Beaufort County, Inc., which has successfully recruited, trained, and coordinated volunteers for over twenty-five years.

Impact

Adopt-A-School of Beaufort County, Inc. has made a significant difference in the lives of students at St. Helena Elementary School by providing grants for special projects, volunteer tutoring, and supporting the United Way Operation Backpack program, which supplies approximately 165 backpacks filled with essential school supplies.
