In the aftermath of the Soviet Union's fall, Nick faced hardship in Moldova. At just 14, he took on various jobs to support his family after losing his father. His life transformed when he joined a basketball team in 1995, where he found purpose through faith. Inspired by NBA legend David Robinson, Nick founded the Admirals Basketball Academy in 2013 to help youth in Moldova and Ukraine discover hope and leadership through basketball and faith.
Hundreds of young people have found hope in Jesus through the Admirals Basketball Academy, becoming agents of change in their communities and breaking the cycle of poverty and hopelessness.
