In the early 2000s, Jeff and Laura Sandefer sought an educational option that would truly prepare their children for the future. Frustrated with traditional schooling, they founded Acton Academy in Austin, Texas, in 2010. Today, the Acton Academy Network has expanded to over 250 affiliated academies across 30 states and 20 countries, providing innovative learning experiences for children worldwide.
Acton Academy of Bergen County is dedicated to offering an affordable, non-traditional learning environment that inspires students to pursue their passions and develop their unique talents. By focusing on character development and hands-on learning, AABC empowers learners to embark on their hero's journey.
