Our Story

The Active Reading Center (ARC) was founded in 1992 by Judy Kranzler, who faced her own reading challenges as a child. This organization is dedicated to providing effective reading instruction to children, particularly those who are English Language Learners or have learning disabilities. Utilizing a unique methodology called Open Reading, ARC incorporates fun and engaging strategies to foster reading success.

Impact

ARC has transformed the lives of thousands of students, helping them become confident readers through personalized instruction and innovative teaching methods. Nearly 50% of students are referred by professionals such as pediatricians and neuropsychologists.

Why Donate?

Your donations to ARC support individualized, one-on-one reading instruction for struggling readers. As tuition fees do not fully cover operational expenses, your contributions are vital for sustaining our programs and continuing our mission.

Get Involved

Join the movement to empower children through reading! Donate cryptocurrency or cash today to help ARC provide essential reading instruction to those who need it most. Every contribution makes a difference in a child's life.
