Active Faith

Our Story

Founded in 1987 by ten local pastors, Active Faith Community Services has been dedicated to providing essential food and clothing assistance to low-income individuals and families in the South Lyon Community School District. Over the years, the organization has evolved to meet the growing needs of the community, promoting inclusivity and equality.

Impact

In 2023, Active Faith Community Services recorded over 5,778 food pantry visits, assisting nearly 700 individuals each month, including 220 children. The organization distributed approximately 200,000 pounds of food and provided various forms of assistance, including holiday gifts and school supplies.
