Founded in 1983, Action For Animals Humane Society is a dedicated non-profit organization located in the heart of our community. This no-kill shelter is committed to rescuing and caring for abused, neglected, and stray dogs and cats until they find loving forever homes.

AFA has proudly maintained a no-euthanasia policy for space, ensuring that all adoptable animals receive the care they need until they are re-homed. Each year, AFA rescues and cares for 700-800 animals, providing them with a second chance at life.
