Our Story
Founded in 1956, ACT for Mental Health began with the 'Fireside Friendship Club' for individuals facing serious mental illness. Over the decades, ACT has expanded its services, establishing a reputation for innovative interventions and effective therapy. With a focus on family healing, child trauma, and parent/child reunification, ACT has become a cornerstone of mental health support in the community, thanks in part to the dedication of Wanda Irene Alexander Broadie, a pivotal figure in its history.
