Since 1995, Acres of Diamonds has been dedicated to addressing the urgent needs of homeless mothers and their children in Duvall, Washington. Founded by Pearl Tadema, the organization began with a simple yet powerful vision: to provide a safe haven for families in crisis. With the support of her community, Pearl transformed a house into a nurturing environment where homeless moms and their children could find refuge and rebuild their lives.

Acres of Diamonds offers more than just shelter; it provides a comprehensive support system that includes counseling, parenting advice, financial assistance, and life skills training. The program has expanded over the years, now accommodating even more families in need, all while fostering a sense of community and belonging.

Over 100 children have begun to heal from past trauma at Acres of Diamonds since 2014, thanks to the dedicated efforts of staff and volunteers.
