Our Story

Acord was founded in 1991 with a mission to empower individuals and families to feed themselves in a nutritionally balanced way. This grassroots organization operates with the support of over 120 dedicated volunteers, serving nearly 7,000 client visits each year.

Impact in the Community

In 2023, Acord distributed over 166,500 pounds of groceries, equating to an estimated 138,500 meals for those in need. The organization has significantly increased its support for senior clients, tripling the number served since May 2019, and provided over 41,000 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables last year.
