Our Story

The Achieving Standards of Excellence Foundation (ASOEF) was established in 2002 by members of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® - Alpha Sigma Omega Chapter. The foundation was created to provide a charitable organization that could enhance educational programming and support individuals in their pursuit of academic excellence. Through various funding channels, ASOEF has been able to offer scholarships, college preparation workshops, and essential school supplies to students in high-poverty areas.
