Our Story
Founded in 1981 by the Sisters of Mercy, business professionals, and women experiencing homelessness, Achieveability has evolved to meet the needs of the West Philadelphia community. Initially known as Philadelphians Concerned About Housing, the organization has developed numerous housing units and programs aimed at breaking the generational cycle of poverty for low-income families.
Our Impact
Achieveability strives to permanently break the generational cycle of poverty for West Philadelphia families through higher education, affordable housing, supportive services, community and economic development, and accountability.
