Our Story

Achieve Now is a Philadelphia-based literacy nonprofit dedicated to providing high-quality, culturally competent literacy instruction to schoolchildren. By viewing literacy as a social justice issue, the organization empowers students to become strong, confident readers through a holistic approach that includes training volunteer coaches to use a research-based phonics curriculum.

Impact

In the 2023-2024 school year, Achieve Now's students experienced a remarkable 137% CORE score growth, significantly exceeding the national benchmark of 21.2%.
