Aces for Autism was founded through the inspiring journey of Samuel Robinson, who was diagnosed with moderate to severe autism at just eighteen months old. In 2014, after a heartfelt request from their church community, Kyle and Bobbie Robinson decided to establish a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals and families affected by autism in eastern North Carolina. Instead of a fundraiser for Samuel, they envisioned a ministry that would provide essential support and resources to those in need.

Each week, Bobbie and Samuel would travel to Winston Salem for therapy, and it was during these journeys that they felt a divine calling to create a space where families could find hope and healing. Aces for Autism has since become a beacon of light, advocating for autism awareness and providing access to vital therapies. Through their efforts, state laws have been passed, ensuring that individuals receive the care they deserve.
