Our Story

Access To Recovery is a dedicated nonprofit organization based in Rhode Island, established in 2017. With a mission to reduce the negative impacts of alcoholism and substance misuse, the organization has been pivotal in preventing needless overdose deaths. Funded entirely by donations and foundation grants, Access To Recovery is uniquely positioned to meet the true needs of individuals seeking recovery.

Impact

Since its inception, Access To Recovery has successfully eliminated financial barriers for over 500 individuals, establishing three new recovery houses in Rhode Island, providing a total of 22 adult beds, including specialized housing for women with young children.
