Access Justice Brooklyn, founded in 1990, is dedicated to providing free legal advice and representation to individuals who cannot afford it. This independent organization focuses on dismantling systemic barriers to justice, ensuring equal access to the legal system for low-income individuals, particularly in marginalized communities.

Impact

In the past year, Access Justice Brooklyn has positively impacted 15,124 New Yorkers, trained and supervised 253 volunteers, and received 5,606 hours of donated volunteer time, significantly changing lives facing legal challenges.
