Founded in 1946, the Alaska Center for Children and Adults (ACCA) began as a grassroots initiative to provide orthopedic referrals and speech therapy. Originally known as ‘Alaska Crippled Children and Adults’, ACCA has evolved to meet the diverse needs of individuals with disabilities across Alaska.
