Our Story

Above and Beyond English Setter Rescue is a dedicated 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on rescuing English Setters in need. Since 2004, A&BESR has worked tirelessly to save thousands of homeless setters, providing them with loving foster homes across all 50 states, Washington D.C., and Canada. Many of these dogs come from shelters, abusive situations, or families unable to care for them. Each rescued setter receives essential veterinary care, including spaying/neutering, vaccinations, and treatment for any medical issues. Our network of foster homes ensures that every dog is placed in an environment that suits their unique needs, allowing them to thrive until they find their forever homes.
