About Kidz

Our Story

Established in 2010, AboutKidz began with a dedicated group of volunteers committed to making a difference in the lives of at-risk and low-income elementary-aged children in Citrus Heights. The mission is to implement programs that not only meet practical needs but also foster a sense of belonging and support for both children and their caregivers.

Impact

Thanks to generous donations, AboutKidz has distributed Christmas gifts to over 2,000 children, added a computer lab to the Sayonara Youth Center, and provided weekly tutoring and life skills development. The organization has also fully equipped and coached 40 co-ed sports teams and distributed more than 10,000 backpacks filled with essential supplies.
