Our Story

Founded on May 1st, 2000, Abortion Access Fund, Inc. was established by Dr. LeRoy and Mary Carhart to ensure that financial barriers do not prevent individuals from receiving necessary abortion care. Despite facing challenges, including a devastating arson attack in 2009 that destroyed vital records, AAF has remained committed to its mission.

Since its inception, AAF has successfully raised over $20,500 to support patients in need of abortion services, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to reproductive rights.
