Our Story

Founded in 1951 by dedicated parents in Greenwich, Abilis has been a pioneer in advocating for individuals with developmental disabilities. Initially focused on enabling children to attend local public schools, the organization has since expanded its services to support over 800 individuals from birth through their senior years across lower Fairfield County, Connecticut.
