Our Story

In December 2018, Lee Morris found himself at a crossroads, battling addiction and seeking divine intervention. This pivotal moment led to the establishment of The Men of Nehemiah Abilene in November 2019. Starting with just two men, the program has rapidly expanded, reflecting the transformative power of faith and community support. With partnerships in place, including Boots on the Ground and Love and Care Ministries, the organization now offers comprehensive services, including counseling and vocational training in trades like plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work.

Impact

Since its inception, The Men of Nehemiah Abilene has made significant strides in serving the College Heights neighborhood. The program has successfully graduated numerous men, equipping them with the skills and support needed for a sustainable future.
