ABC of NC Child Development Center

Our Story

Founded in 2002 by parents of an autistic child, ABC of NC Child Development Center was the first in the community to offer specialized autism services. With a commitment to high-quality, evidence-based instruction, the center has grown to provide 1:1 instruction, small group classes, and professional seminars. In 2011, ABC of NC earned accreditation from Cognia®, solidifying its reputation for excellence. The organization expanded its mission in 2013 to include mental health services, ensuring comprehensive support for clients with co-occurring conditions.

Impact

Since 2005, ABC of NC has awarded over $3.3 million in financial aid, making essential services accessible to families from all economic backgrounds. The organization is dedicated to improving the lives of autistic individuals and their families through high-quality diagnostic, therapeutic, and educational services.
