Our Story

Aarti for Girls began with a simple mission: to provide a safe home and education for a few girl children. However, as the organization grew, it became clear that the challenges faced by girls and women were far more extensive than initially imagined. Deep-rooted discrimination against the girl child necessitated a multi-faceted approach to change societal mindsets. Aarti's programs have evolved to address immediate needs, including teaching women vital livelihood skills to foster economic independence.

Impact

Since its inception, Aarti Home has cared for over 6,000 children, offering a loving environment for those orphaned or escaping domestic abuse. The organization has successfully rescued 1,950 girls from abusive situations and 2,500 children from child labor, reaching an astounding 1.5 million children through awareness programs.
