Founded in 2011 by Claudia Haltom, A Step Ahead Foundation addresses the cycle of poverty faced by young mothers in Memphis. With 17 years of experience as a Juvenile Court Judicial Magistrate, Claudia recognized the urgent need for effective birth control access for young women, enabling them to plan their futures.

Our Impact
