Our Story

Born during the pandemic, A Song For You is a grassroots, arts not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing essential healing and comfort to hospice patients and their loved ones. Through personalized recorded songs, the organization honors the legacies of patients while creating a final moment of connection between them and their families. What began as a singular call to action to ensure isolated Covid-19 patients did not die alone has now blossomed into a 501c3 charity based in New York City.

In just 18 months, A Song For You has successfully written, recorded, and shared over 200 personalized songs, each crafted from the unique stories of individual patients as told by their families. This initiative has provided comfort and connection at the end of life.
