Our Story

A Piece Of My Heart Foundation was established in memory of Morgan Manning, who tragically passed away at just 14 years old due to a rare heart condition known as Catecholaminergic Polymorphic Ventricular Tachycardia (CPVT). This foundation is dedicated to raising awareness about CPVT and preventing similar tragedies for other families.

Impact

Through partnerships with local schools, the foundation has successfully provided Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to all middle schools in the Pasadena Unified School District, impacting over 3,800 students and staff. Additionally, funding for a CPVT Research Coordinator is enhancing vital research in pediatric electrophysiology.
