A New Chance Animal Rescue was born from the passion of a young girl, Sophia Silverman, who dreamed of saving homeless dogs. Growing up in a dog-loving family, Sophia, alongside her mother Sharon, founded this 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2011. Over the years, with the support of dedicated foster families, volunteers, and donors, A New Chance has successfully rescued over 1,000 dogs, providing them with loving homes and a second chance at life.
Since our founding in 2012, we have rescued and adopted out over 1,000 dogs.
Dog adoption donations only cover about 35% of our pre-adoption expenses per dog. To maintain affordable adoption fees and continue our mission, fundraising is essential. Your generous donation will directly support the care and rescue of dogs in need.
