Our Story
A Kitten Place is a dedicated volunteer-based animal rescue organization focused on saving orphaned kittens and homeless cats in local communities. This initiative was born out of a deep compassion for the most vulnerable animals in county shelters, particularly neonatal kittens who face daily euthanasia due to a lack of resources. Volunteers open their homes to provide essential veterinary care, food, shelter, and socialization until these kittens are ready for adoption.
In addition to rescuing neonatal kittens, A Kitten Place also assists pregnant cats and those with critical medical needs. The commitment of volunteers ensures that every cat and kitten receives the love and care they deserve, regardless of the time and cost involved. Furthermore, the organization actively participates in TNVR (Trap, Neuter, Vet and Return) programs to address the cat overpopulation crisis in the community.
