Our Story

AIESEC was founded in 1948 by seven young visionaries from different countries, united by a dream of fostering cross-cultural understanding. Over the decades, AIESEC has expanded its reach, now present in 60 countries, and has delivered over 230,000 leadership development experiences. In 2015, youth leaders from 126 nations convened at the United Nations to advocate for youth involvement in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
