Our Story
A Glimmer of Hope Foundation was founded in 1994 by Diana Napper to honor her best friend, Carol Jo Weiss Friedman, who lost her battle with breast cancer. What began as a jewelry business to fund hospice care has transformed into a dedicated nonprofit organization focused on supporting breast cancer patients and their families in the Pittsburgh area.
Impact
With over six million dollars raised, A Glimmer of Hope Foundation has funded groundbreaking technologies and established the Glimmer of Hope Metastatic Breast Cancer Center, providing essential care for those facing advanced breast cancer.
