Our Story
A Friend’s House is a dedicated 501(c)(3) organization established in 1998, serving as a safe haven for youth in crisis. Collaborating with the Department of Family and Children Services, the organization focuses on creating permanency plans for children, which may include family reunification or continued foster care services. Over 3,000 youth have found respite from abuse, abandonment, or neglect at A Friend’s House, embodying the belief that it takes a village to raise a child.
