A Dollar Makes A Scholar is dedicated to transforming lives through education. Founded by Indumathi Prakash, the organization was inspired by her experiences in India, where she witnessed the struggles of orphaned students. With a mission to ensure that every child has the opportunity to achieve their dreams, the organization focuses on providing scholarships and essential support to orphans.
This year, generous donations have enabled the provision of college scholarships for three girls and uniforms for 25 children. Additionally, support was given to establish separation chambers for mentally challenged students at Best NewLife Shelter, allowing them to return to school post-COVID-19.
