Our Story
A Child’s Notebook was founded in 2018 by Ducksoon Hwang, inspired by her visit to rural Laos in 2016. Witnessing the educational challenges faced by local schools ignited a passion to improve education for children in Southeast Asia, particularly in impoverished areas.
Our Impact
Since its inception, A Child’s Notebook has partnered with local communities to enhance education for over 3,500 students, tackling issues like inadequate sanitation and unsafe school conditions.
