Our Story
A Better Way Services Inc. began in 1977 when Marilyn Ginay and Joanne Lindblad recognized the urgent need for support for domestic violence victims. Their efforts led to the establishment of a one-room shelter in 1978, which has since evolved into a comprehensive organization dedicated to aiding survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
Impact
Today, A Better Way offers a range of trauma-informed services, including a walk-in Rape Crisis Center, mobile advocacy, individual counseling, and a 24/7 crisis support line. These services are crucial in helping individuals regain control of their lives.
