A Better Choice

Our Story

A Better Choice Inc was founded in 1993 by a dedicated group of volunteers who recognized the urgent need for pregnancy services in the community. Since moving to our current location in 1996, adjacent to a now-closed abortion clinic, the organization has provided over 50,000 pregnancy tests and compassionate conversations, offering hope and support to women facing unplanned pregnancies.

In 2002, thanks to the generosity of donors and the Knights of Columbus, limited ultrasound services were introduced, and over 3,000 sonograms have been performed by medical volunteers since then. The expansion of our facilities in 2018 allowed us to dedicate an entire building to our sonogram program, which was blessed by Bishop Carl Kemme at its grand opening.

In 2020, a social worker was added to our team to enhance resource management for our clients, ensuring they receive the comprehensive support they need. Operating with a small staff and a large volunteer base, A Better Choice relies entirely on the loving support of the pro-life community. The impact of our services is immeasurable, with thousands of lives saved through our commitment to serving women and the unborn.
