Since 1987, Ridgefield A Better Chance (RABC) has been dedicated to providing academically-gifted young women of color with the opportunity to pursue a premier high school education. As a local chapter of the national non-profit A Better Chance, RABC identifies and nurtures future leaders among underrepresented youth, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to thrive.

With 66 RABC Scholars graduating from Ridgefield High School, many have gone on to prestigious universities and colleges, pursuing advanced degrees in fields such as medicine, technology, business, and law. These accomplished alumnae are making significant contributions to their communities and beyond.
