Our Story

In 1963, a couple in Indio, California, opened their home to eight men seeking recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. This humble beginning laid the foundation for ABC Recovery Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 1978. Today, the center spans 11.8 acres and includes twenty-four buildings, including the original home, providing a safe haven for those in need.
