Our Story

92 For 22 was founded in April 2017 in Michigan by a group of veterans who walked the 92-mile White Pine Trail to raise awareness about veteran suicide and the impact of post-traumatic stress. This initial walk, which included 11 veterans, raised $6,644 for Help For Our Disabled Troops, a nonprofit that adapts homes for injured veterans. Inspired by this experience, the founders established 92 For 22 in March 2018 to directly assist veterans in need of home accommodations and support.

Our Impact

92 For 22 is dedicated to addressing the alarming statistic that 22 veterans take their own lives each day. The organization focuses on the physical, mental, emotional, and financial challenges faced by veterans and their families in Michigan, ensuring that these issues remain a priority.
