Founded in January 2016 by four dedicated members of the 184th Sustainment Command, 5th Squad emerged from the challenges of military life. This organization evolved from a simple club into a recognized nonprofit with 501(c)(3) status in 2018, driven by a commitment to foster camaraderie and service.
5th Squad has successfully provided crucial financial assistance to Veterans facing urgent needs such as utilities, housing, and groceries. Additionally, initiatives like Ruck for Rugrats and Ruck to Remember have been launched to support both Veterans and children in hospitals.
