Our Story

The Iowa 4-H Foundation began around a campfire with a vision for a 4-H camping facility. This vision sparked a fundraising effort that raised $500,000 primarily from farm families and 4-H members. Established in 1952, the Foundation has expanded its focus to include scholarships, county endowments, and program support for Iowa's youth, uniting support for their betterment through 4-H.
