33 Spine Align Inc was founded by Ryan Normandeau with a vision to support essential spinal orthopedic care in West Africa. By partnering with FOCOS Hospital in Accra, Ghana, the organization has been able to directly fundraise for patient support, addressing a significant backlog of patients in need. In 2019, during its inaugural mission trip, 33 Spine Align successfully funded and supported eight life-saving surgeries. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the organization returned to Africa in 2022, presenting FOCOS with a remarkable $100,000 check to further fund patient care.
