29th Street Community Center
EIN: 85-3140009 · Baltimore, MD
Our Story
The 29th Street Community Center, rooted in the heart of Baltimore's Harwood neighborhood, began its journey nearly five decades ago as the Barclay Recreation Center. After facing closure in 2011, local residents and the Greater Homewood Community Corporation rallied to reclaim and reimagine this vital space. Today, the Center stands as a beacon of hope, dedicated to nurturing youth, celebrating diversity, and fostering community relationships.
Our Impact
With a mission to provide welcoming and accessible spaces, the 29th Street Community Center amplifies the voices and talents of our diverse community.
