Our Story

20 Liters was founded in response to a devastating cholera outbreak in Masaka, Rwanda, where over 500 lives were lost due to contaminated water. This organization is dedicated to providing clean water solutions to vulnerable populations, including widows, orphans, and individuals living with HIV/AIDS. By partnering with local churches and organizations, 20 Liters empowers communities through training and innovative technologies.

Impact

To date, 20 Liters has served over 252,088 people by implementing rainwater harvesting systems and community filters, significantly enhancing health and hygiene in underserved areas of Sub-Saharan Africa.
