Restoration Of Historic Buildings For Veterans
Providing Permanent Supportive Housing For Homeless Veterans

Our Story

Carolina Winston Barrie, a direct descendant of Arcadia Bandini de Baker, honors the legacy of her ancestor who, alongside Senator John Percival Jones, donated the first 300 acres for the Pacific Branch of the National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers and Sailors. For decades, Carolina and her family have worked tirelessly to restore this historic site, ensuring it remains a welcoming home for veterans.

Impact

The Master Plan Framework prioritizes permanent supportive housing for homeless or at-risk veterans, focusing on a nurturing and secure environment. The initial phase will provide 490 housing units in the central area of the north campus, offering a safe haven for those who have served our country.
