About 1736 Family Crisis Center

Founded in 1972, 1736 Family Crisis Center began as a single Emergency Youth Shelter for runaways and street kids. Over the years, it has expanded its services to include domestic violence shelters, mental health and legal clinics, and outreach programs for vulnerable populations.

Impact

Serving approximately 9,000 individuals directly through in-depth programs and reaching an additional 15,000 through educational outreach, the center significantly improves prospects for safety and stability.
