Our Story

The 128CM Memorial Foundation was established to honor the lives tragically lost in a plane accident on March 22, 2009, in Butte, Montana. Named after the tail number of the Pilatus airplane piloted by Ellison 'Air Bud' Summerfield, the foundation provides scholarships to students who embody the qualities of the families represented.

Our Impact

Over the past 14 years, the foundation has awarded more than $700,000, benefiting over 300 students and schools through scholarships and financial support.
