Empowering Girls Through Mentorship
On January 16, 2019, founder Bobbi Brown gathered 29 women in Bridgeport, Connecticut, to launch a vision that would transform the lives of girls in the community. This vision blossomed into #100GirlsLeading, a day dedicated to interactive mentorship for girls aged 9-18. Through The Girls Tour, the initiative reached dozens of schools across Southern Connecticut, inspiring over 800 girls to explore new career paths and connect with powerful mentors.
At the inaugural event, 500 girls were matched with 100 influential women, creating a network of support and empowerment. Each girl left with a mentor and access to local programs focused on academic and economic growth.
