Our Story
The 100 Black Men of Los Angeles, Inc. was founded in 1981 by Dr. William H. Hayling, MD, as a civic and community-based organization dedicated to serving disadvantaged and underrepresented segments of the community. With a mission to improve the quality of life for African Americans and other minorities, the organization focuses on enhancing educational and economic opportunities. The establishment of the Young Black Scholars Program exemplifies this commitment, providing vital support and mentorship to youth in the community.
