Our Story

Established in 1997, the Tuskegee Human and Civil Rights Multicultural Center serves as a permanent memorial to the victims and survivors of the Tuskegee Syphilis Study. Founded by Mr. Herman Shaw and attorney Fred D. Gray, the Center honors the rich history of the community while providing educational programs and workshops.
