Our Story

The Rio Bravo Project was conceived in a local Mexican food restaurant, where a simple idea transformed into a mission to serve vulnerable children along the US/Mexico border. After years of serving in various ministries, the vision became clear in 2020: to create a nonprofit dedicated to meeting the real needs of children and families in this region. With a heart for service and a commitment to love our neighbors, the Rio Bravo Project was born, focusing on providing tangible support to those who need it most.

Our Impact

Children are often the most affected by struggles along the border. The Rio Bravo Project is dedicated to serving these children by providing opportunities for physical activity, educational support, regular meals, and mentoring relationships.
